The Manage Users permission allows admins to create and manage user profiles, assign roles, and control access levels. This central control enhances security and streamlines operations.
To access this page, administrators must click Admin from the top navigation bar. Next, click Manage Users under Users and Permissions. When Administrators land on the below screen, they can perform tasks like creating accounts, updating details, assigning roles, and setting permissions to protect sensitive data and simplify administration.
Here are the field and column definitions for the Manage Users page in USA Performance:
Filters & Page Controls
Pay Plan (Dropdown) – Filters users by pay plan (e.g., GS, SES, SL/ST).
Series (Dropdown) – Filters users by occupational series (e.g., 0301, 0343).
Grade (Dropdown) – Filters users by grade level within their pay plan (e.g., GS-12, GS-15).
Filter (Button) – Applies the selected Pay Plan/Series/Grade filters to the user list.
Display Inactive Users (Checkbox) – Shows users whose accounts are inactive or disabled.
Search (Field + Button) – Searches for users by name, email, or other identifiers.
Reset (Button) – Clears all filter and search criteria and refreshes the full user list.
Create User (Button) – Opens the form to add a new user account to USA Performance.
Display Records (Dropdown) – Controls how many user records appear per page (e.g., 10, 25, 50).
Pagination Controls (First, Previous, Next, Last) – Navigate through multiple pages of users.
Column Definitions
Name – Displays the user's full name; clicking the name typically opens the user’s profile for editing or review.
Email – The user’s official government email address associated with their USA Performance account.
Organization – The office or division to which the user belongs.
Parent Organization – The higher-level organizational unit (e.g., department or major program office) above the user’s primary organization.
Pay Plan–Series–Grade – Indicates the user’s pay system, occupational series, and grade (e.g., GS-0343-12).
Agency Identifier – Displays bureau or sub-agency identifiers if applicable; "N/A" indicates none assigned.
Status – Shows whether the user’s account is Active or Inactive in the system.
