This permission allows administrators to send custom email notifications from USA Performance to target populations within their organization and subordinate organizations.
Agency administrators of the top-level organization will automatically receive access to the Mass Email Notifications Permission. The permission will need to be assigned to organizational administrators for access to the subordinate organizations.
- Click Admin.
- Click Manage Organizations under System Configuration.
- The Organizations – Tree View tab and Organizations – Table View tabs appear. The Organizations – Tree View tab defaults as open.
From the Organizations – Tree View, click the arrow next to the agency name and import code. This will expand the organization structure to show any subordinate organizations. Select the appropriate organization to open a list of active employees and administrators. Click Edit to assign permissions.
From the Organizations – Table View, select the name of the organization to assign permissions.
- The Edit tab will open. Click Permissions.
- To assign permissions to this organization, select the checkbox next to Mass Email Notifications under General Permissions.
- A message asks, “Do you want this permission to cascade to any subordinate organizations?”. The decision to cascade will apply to all subordinate organizations.
- Choosing No, This Organization Only allows this permission to be applied only to the current organization and will not be applied to any subordinate organizations. However, any subordinate organizations are eligible to be assigned that permission independent of this cascade.
- Choosing Yes, Cascade allows this permission to be applied to the current organization, and to all subordinate organizations.
- Click Save Permissions.
- A confirmation message will appear.
