Administrators with Mass Email Notifications permission can send customized emails via the USA Performance platform. They can target specific groups within their organization and any subordinate organizations. This feature enables efficient, timely communication of updates, announcements, and important information to the right recipients across different organizational levels.
- Click Admin.
- Click Send a Mass Email Notification under System Configuration.
- The Mass Email Notifications page will open.
- Click Create Mass Email Notification.
- The Create a Mass Email Notification page will open. All fields are required.
- Select the Organizations from the multi-select menu.
- Select the Roles from the multi-select drop-down. All users within the chosen organization(s) can be selected or by user role.
- Enter the email subject in the Subject field.
- Type the message in the Message field.
- Once message is completed, click Send Email.
- A Send Email? message will appear to confirm sending out the email to the specified number of users and will add the text to the email message: “This email was generated in USA Performance by [admin’s name], an administrator for your organization. Click Yes, Send Email.
Note: this could take a while if you're emailing a lot of users. Feel free to leave this page while the emails are generating - your data will not be lost. You'll be BCC'ed on the email, and you can find a link to review it on the Mass Email Notifications page.
- A confirmation message will appear. The email will be generated from usaperformance@opm.gov and will not receive replies.
