The Edit SES Template page enables administrators to modify and manage the configuration of a SES performance template before it is finalized and used in performance plans.
Administrators who need to edit an existing template, should navigate Admin and to Manage SES Template under SES Configuration.
The Manage SES Templates tab will open and display any existing SES templates within your purview.
- Click the Template Name to edit the SES template from the Template Name column.

Filters & Page Controls
- Create Template (Button) - A button that initiates the setup as a reusable template that can be used to pre-populate future forms.
- Filter records - This field allows you to search or limit the records shown based on specific information you enter—such as template names, organization, or other attributes.
- Display Records (Drop Down) - Allows the user to control how many records are shown on the page at one time.
- First, Previous, Next, Last - A set of options that allow the user to choose which subset of records to display.

- Template Name - The full name or title assigned to a saved template, used to identify and select the template within the system.
- Organization - The agency, sub-agency, or component to which the PRB group belongs.
- Created By - Identifies the user (system account or individual) who originally created the record or template.
- Created Date - The system-generated date and time indicating when the record or template was initially created.
- Last Updated By - Identifies the user (system account or individual) who most recently modified the record or template.
- Last Updated - The system-generated date and time indicating when the record or template was last modified.
- Status - Indicates the current state of the record or template within the system (e.g., In Draft, Finalized).
- The Template Name tab will open. Click Edit Template.
- The Edit this template? message appears. Click Yes, Edit to continue editing template or No, Cancel to return.
- You can now navigate and edit each tab: Template Name, Critical Elements, and/or Progress Review & Rating Settings.
- Once changes are completed, at the bottom of each tab page, click Save to save changes and continue editing. If the template is ready to create SES plans, click Finalize Template. You will receive a confirmation message.
Note: Once all template settings are completed, click Finalize Template to enable the SES plan creation. The templates can be edited throughout the performance management cycle; however, any edits made to the templates will only affect future performance plans. Template changes will not update current active plans.
