Performance plan status should be updated in accordance with agency policy, to account for when an employee leaves the agency, begins or completes a detail, is away from the agency for an extended period or if a plan is created erroneously.
Once a plan has completed the performance rating cycle, the administrator has the option to update the plan from Completed to Under Review status depending on agency’s circumstances.
- Open the performance plan.
Navigate to the Status drop down menu.
Select Closed, Active, or On Hold from the Plan Status drop down.
Click Change Status.
Click Yes, Change Status to confirm plan status change. You will receive a confirmation message. Below are the Change Status confirmation modals depending upon the status.

On-Hold
Active
Under Review
Completed
