Clear SSN
Agencies using the eOPF transfer must have a Social Security Number (SSN) on file for each user. If an SSN is incorrect or linked to the wrong profile, administrators can remove and update it to ensure accurate user information. This helps maintain data integrity and smooth personnel file transfers.
- Click Admin.
Click Manage Users under Users & Permissions.
Select the user to clear SSN from the Name column.
The Personal Information tab will open. Navigate to the Confirm Social Security Number field. Click Clear SSN.
Confirm Yes, Clear SSN to clear the employee’s SSN from the profile.
- A success message will appear.
- If the plan requires transmittal to eOPF, you are required to add the correct SSN to the profile. Enter the correct SSN without dashes in the Social Security Number field. Re-enter the SSN in the Confirm Social Security Number field. Click Save.
A success confirmation message will appear.
