The Organizations - Table View page provides administrators with a flat, sortable list of all organizations configured in USA Performance. Unlike the Tree View, which displays hierarchical structure, the Table View offers an easy-to-scan, searchable directory of organizational units along with their parent organizations, import codes, and activation status.
This view is used for reviewing organizational data, validating structure, managing large numbers of organizations, and navigating directly into organization details for editing or maintenance.
To access this page, please click Admin in the navigation bar, then select Manage Organizations under System Configuration. The Organizations – Tree View tab will be open by default. To switch views, click the Organizations - Table View tab.
Here are the fields and descriptions:
- Create New Organization (Button): Opens the form to create a new top-level or stand-alone organizational unit. Administrators use this when adding new offices, divisions, or departments to the system.
- Include Inactive Organizations (Checkbox): When checked, displays organizations that have been deactivated—useful for historical review or reactivation.
- Search (Field + Button): Allows searching for organizations by name, parent organization, import code, or any other table value. Great for quickly locating a specific office within large organizational structures.
- Reset (Button): Clears search filters and returns the table to its default state.
- Organization: Displays the organization’s name. Selecting the link typically opens the organization’s detail page for editing or review.
- Parent Organization: Indicates the immediate parent or higher-level organization in the hierarchy. Helps validate organizational structure.
- Import Code: Shows the code used during bulk imports or for internal system mapping. Supports integration with HR systems or agency-specific coding frameworks.
- Status: Indicates whether the organization is Active (usable) or Inactive (retired or hidden). Only Active organizations should be used for employee assignments.
- Display Records (Dropdown): Sets how many entries appear per page (e.g., 10, 25, 50).
- Pagination Controls (First, Previous, Page Numbers, Next, Last): Allows navigation through multiple pages of organizations.
