- Click Admin.
- Click Manage Rating Cycle Groups under System Configuration.
- The Rating Cycle Groups page will open.
Click New Rating Cycle Group to create a new rating cycle group.
The New Rating Cycle Group page will open.
Here are the fields and descriptions for the New Rating Cycle Group screen in USA Performance:
Group Name*: A required field where administrators enter the name of the new rating cycle group (e.g., “Fiscal Year Cycle” or “Calendar Year Cycle”).
Start Date (MM/DD)*: The required start date of the performance cycle, entered in month/day format. This defines when the appraisal year begins for users assigned to the cycle.
End Date (MM/DD)*: The required end date of the performance cycle, entered in month/day format. The system notes that the end date must be at least 90 days after the start date.
First Available Date*: Specifies the number of days before the Start Date that plans will become available for creation in USA Performance. Example: Entering “30” means plans can be created 30 days before the performance cycle begins.
Active (Checkbox): Indicates whether the rating cycle group is currently active.
Checked = cycle is available for use
Unchecked = cycle is inactive and cannot be assigned to new plans
Create: Saves and creates the new rating cycle group using the information entered.
Enter the Group Name for the new rating cycle group. Rating cycle group names must be unique.
Enter a Start Date (MM/DD) and End Date (MM/DD) for the new rating cycle group. Rating cycle groups must be a minimum of 90 days.
Specify how many days before the rating cycle start date non-SES plans are available for creation. An administrator can enter between 0 and 90 days. If 0 is entered, plans can be created the first day of the rating cycle. If 1-90 days are entered, plans can be created that many days prior to the start of the rating cycle.
- Click Create. You will receive a confirmation message.
